Toddler Activity Sheet, all week
How about reading a "nonfiction (true) book with your child" this week? Perhaps an animal book or poetry book. Or  you could "make a snack together by using a recipe"? We have many yummy recipe books!

Kid's Make the Librarian Laugh Week, all week
Tell a joke to a librarian or dance a jig.  Make us laugh and you'll be rewarded!

Kids Play "Marble Madness," all week
Come in once a week to play this fun marble shooting game for a chance to earn more raffle tickets.

Tween & Teen Craft-to-Go, all week
Stop by the library and make power inspiring Cosplay Cuffs. Earn 1 activity raffle ticket.

Tween & Teen Teen Scavenger Hunt, all week
Follow the clues to the prize and earn 1 activity raffle ticket.

Adult Guessing Contest, all week
Test your superpower of estimation in the Friends of Spider Man contest.  Closest without going over wins. Earn 1 raffle ticket.

Adult "Shelfies," all week
Take a photo of yourself in front of your bookshelf at home, or use one of ours, then drop off a copy or email it to us. Earn 1 raffle ticket.

Adult Mini Book Reviews, all week
Fill out the provided review form and drop it off at the Circulation Desk.  Earn 1 raffle ticket.

Tuesday

Drop-in Knitting Group on Tuesday from 10:00-Noon
If your hobby is knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, or any other kind of stitching, bring you project to the library and stitch with our group! Perfect for all skill levels. In Stitches meets the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday of each month.

Family Story Time at Dar-Col Stables on Tuesday @ 10:30AM
Pet and feed the horses after listening to a few awesome stories and other fun.
Dar-Col Stables is located at 540 Charles Bancroft Highway, Litchfield.

Kid's Take 'n Make Craft, Tuesday-Thursday from 10:00AM-8:00PM
Pick up a "Karate Kid" ninja craft kit to make at home.

Fantasy/Sci-Fi Role Playing Game Group 2 on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00PM
This multi-age group meets every other week. For more information, call Kerri at 424-4044.

Wednesday

Kid's Justice League Training & WHAM! BAM! BINGO! on Wednesday from 11:30-1:30
Bring a picnic lunch, a blanket, and a gently used book and join us on the library lawn for Super fun!  Kids complete their Justice League Training through crafts and games, eat lunch, and play Book Bingo.  (Rain location: Litchfield Middle School Cafeteria)

Movie Night on Wednesday @ 7:00PM
Join us for a dose of old-school Batman from 1966, starring Adam WestBurt Ward and Lee Meriwether. Make yourself comfortable in one of our Adirondack chairs, or bring your own fold-able chair. Tweens & Teens earn 1 activity raffle ticket.

Thursday

Tween Book Group on Thursday @ 2:30PM
Page Turners in grades 6-8 discuss Super Human by Michael Carroll along with a snack and short activity.

Kid's Drop-In Tabletop Game Night on Thursday from 5:00-8:00PM
Children age 8-13 may be dropped off** or parents and siblings may stay and play.
(**Children age 10 or under must be accompanied by a caregiver aged 14 or older.)

Drop-in Knitting Group on Thursday from 6:00-8:00PM

Friday

Baby & Toddler Tales on Friday @ 10:30AM
Babies and toddlers under 36 months, along with their caregivers enjoy stories, songs and nursery rhymes on the lawn.  Be sure to bring a blanket! (Weather permitting)

Kid's Magic of Science Super Sidekicks Workshop on Friday @ 1:00PM
Registration required; call for availability. Not all superheroes are born with their powers.  Some need the help of trusty sidekicks and cool gadgets to save the day. Children age 8-12 leave this workshop as a hero with their own super tools. (Rain location: Campbell High School)

Tween & Teen Superhero Sleuth Science on Friday @ 2:20PM
Become a super sleuth hero and use forensic science to catch the evil villain and save the day! Earn 1 activity raffle ticket.

Other

Activity Pass of the Month: Squam Lakes Natural Science Center
Located in Holderness, New Hampshire. Purchased up to 2 Trail admission tickets for $3.00 each and up to 4 additional admissions for $10.00 each. (This represents a discount of up to $14 per ticket.) Children 2 years old and under are free. Trail admission covers the live animal trail and all hiking trails.
